    About the Initiative

About Money Smart Week South Africa

MSWSA provides a collaborative platform through which organisations and individuals align their financial education initiatives with a designated campaign week and contribute to a broader national effort to improve access to reliable financial education in South Africa.

The 2026 campaign theme, "Money Smart: The Power of Possible", recognises the real financial pressures many South Africans face, including high living costs, income uncertainty, debt, fraud and scams, low digital financial literacy and limited access to trusted financial information.
